Open Weds - Sat with extended hours during peak times. The Reed & Co bar offers cocktails, spirit tastings and a snack menu.
At 5pm Koji Bird dinner menu commences alongside the extensive cocktail list, and for those who aren’t into cocktails we also offer a small wine & beer list.

Koji Bird was created as a nod to the experience of a casual Japanese eatery- the Izakaya. It seemed fitting for the distillery, as Izakaya loosely translates to “stay with alcohol”.
Originating in our distillery in 2021 when making Koji (Japan’s national fungus) for spirit R&D. Chef/distillers Hamish & Rachel couldn’t resist putting the product to good use in the distillery’s custom wood-fire grill.
The concept: an Aussie chicken shop meets Izakaya bar. Koji Bird produces food that's best consumed with beverages and good company. Enjoy dishes like woodfire grilled chicken, venison tataki, prawn toast, Koji Cow (steak) and more.
We recommend book for Koji Bird, however walk-ins are also welcome.

Reed & Co Distillery acknowledges and pays respect to the traditional custodians of Bright, which encompasses the lands on which we live, grow and create. We recognise the ancient and continuing presence of the first peoples on these lands and their important role as caretakers of these countries. We pay our respects to their elders, past, present and emerging.
